Hi, I'm Justin Wieners – and yes, it's actually "wieners".

I'm a midwest dad who loves baseball cards, stickers, vinyl records, and old film cameras. I guess that's where the wholesome-quirky-retro design style comes from. Our family runs an independent bookstore in Overland Park, KS called Monstera’s Books.

I started Hot Dog! after I was laid off from my tech job in 2023. It's always been my dream to have my own design studio, so I took the situation as a sign from the universe and went for it.

I’ve been the guy at agencies making websites for big name clients. I’ve been the guy at tech companies making apps for national brands. But I'm doing this because I’d rather help the underdogs chase their dreams, too.
